MARS ONE

Our startup business is a farm that distributes agricultural products of medical grade using an Indoor Vertical Farm system. This system allows us to grow high-quality vegetables consistently throughout the year by controlling the cultivation environment, such as light, temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, and nutrient solution. This enables us to plan production accurately and achieve consistent yields year-round.

**Indoor Vertical Farm**: These are commercial plant-growing facilities that use advanced technology and high automation. They can produce crops such as various leafy greens or strawberries 24 hours a day, every day of the year, in a closed environment similar to a clean room. The plant growing trays are stacked under a grow lighting system and are protected from external environmental factors. The entire growth process is fully automated, allowing for easier and cheaper cost control, nearly matching traditional organic farming costs. With control over production volume, quality, and harvest timing, we can set competitive prices that ensure a good return on investment.

    Business Model (Problem)

In Thailand, there is a significant amount of agricultural products contaminated with chemicals, which greatly affects consumer health. Additionally, the remote cultivation locations lead to environmental degradation due to transportation methods that damage both the environment and the nutrients in the produce. As a result, consumers face problems with inadequate and insufficient nutrient intake. Implementing Hyper Local Urban Farming can effectively address these challenges.

    Business Model (Solution)

The excessive use of pesticides and the long distances involved in transporting agricultural products contribute to high prices for agricultural produce in urban communities. Utilizing Indoor Vertical Farming technology in the form of Hyper Local Urban Farms can address these issues effectively. This technology ensures that agricultural products are free from harmful chemical residues, contain more nutritious elements, and can be implemented within urban communities without relying on natural factors (farming is possible even in sandy areas).

    Current Customer

Our target group is B2C, meaning we sell directly to consumers residing in large communities where agricultural produce prices are high. We focus on a subscription model.
